A journalist is liable for injury to honour and reputation if he insults a public figure with vulgar terms or if he states that the invitation to civil pre-trial mediation constitutes a threat to the newspaper. Within the scope of the right of criticism, on the other hand, the journalist is free to comment and express his or her personal assessments as long as the facts being commented on are true.
